Knowing who you're doing business with is important. And I don't just mean the professional certifications, industry awards and recognition, or education all of which I have provided below because it is useful to know.

More so, you should know I can make an impact by helping people, especially those in overlooked communities. Not only do I advise people about the accumulation and protection of wealth, I coach them about the management and distribution of it during retirement. The latter is critical since retirement is no longer as simple as five years at home with your feet up; it can be 20 or 30 years filled with exotic trips, charitable work and occasionally putting your feet up.

Professional Designations/Certifications

Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®)

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®)

The CLU® designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. It symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®)

An RICP® designee is trained to understand how to structure effective retirement income plan, how to mitigate risks to the plan, and how to create a sustainable stream of income to last throughout a client's retirement years.

Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®)

The ChFC® program provides financial services professionals with in-depth knowledge of the skills needed to perform comprehensive financial planning for their clients
